Mobile Economy GmbH is the Berlin-based management consultancy for mobile innovation. Our focus areas are mobile advertising, MVNO/MVNE and mobile application development.

Since 2000, Mobile Economy's CEO, Jan Michael Hess, regularly visits Tokyo to learn the Japanese art of managing the Mobile Economy Triangle (networks, devices & services). During that time, Jan has visited Tokyo 10 times, built an extensive network of business contacts and gained a very profound understanding of the local market.

Since 2004, Jan has organised and lead 5 METs to Tokyo and 1 MET to Seoul. By now, the MET Tokyo agenda is well-balanced and includes meetings with some of the best mobile companies and individual experts. Moreover, the MET week also includes a hot bath in Oedo Onsen in Odaiba and many delicious lunches and dinners at tested Japanese restaurants.
